Electrical Discharge Machining or EDM is a highly accurate method of part production. Wire EDM technology is essential for higher tolerance parts and repeatable tooling. Tolerances are held to ±.0002" in our temperature controlled facility. We are capable of cutting all types of conductive materials, including exotic metals such as titanium, Kovar®, Inconel®, Hastelloy®, hard tool steels, carbide, etc.
Achieving high accuracy and tighter tolerances is essential for industries such as aerospace, medical, injection molding, and tool and die. With Electrical Discharge Machining we can produce and repeat the required specifications with ease. | |

Swiss Style Turning Machines are similar to CNC lathes or turning centers, but are faster and more accurate than traditional CNC turning centers. Swiss precision machining allows milling, drilling, turning and tapping to be accomplished on each Swiss turning machine.
Esterline & Sons is proud to announce the arrival of our new Mori Seiki NT3200/1000SZ (5-axis) high precision and high efficiency integrated mill-turn center.

Other forms of turning include our Mori Seiki SL-150Y machines which allow us to step into a 4-axis environment. We also use many Hardinge Conquest Gang Toolers (2-axis) utilizing Fanuc controls. For the more simple but precise products we continue to use many Hardinge CHNC (2-axis) using Allen Bradley 9 series controls.
